It was not long before Hayes’ unmatched toughness, intensity and high motor began earning the respect of his teammates and coaches around him. Those qualities, coupled with his 6’6 295 lbs (and growing) frame, earned Hayes a scholarship to play football at LSU. But Hayes did not just set out to earn a scholarship at LSU. Hayes is primed to emerge as one of the top linemen in the SEC over the next couple of years! He is one to watch as there are going to be a lot of eyes on the Tigers heading into the 2026 season.
