Justin Powe is a physical, instincts-driven safety for the Troy University Trojans, where he has established himself as a key playmaker and defensive leader in the Sun Belt Conference. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Powe combines football intelligence, reliable tackling, and a nose for creating turnovers — traits that have made him one of Troy’s most productive defenders.
In the 2025 season, Powe was among Troy’s most consistent contributors on defense, finishing with 75 total tackles (37 solo, 38 assisted) while adding a forced fumble, an interception, and a pass defended. His ability to support the run, make plays in coverage, and impact critical moments has been a defining feature of his play this year.
Powe’s 2025 performance built on a breakout 2024 campaign, during which he earned a scholarship, started every game, and finished third on the team with 67 total tackles, along with tackles for loss, a sack, and multiple interceptions.
