Rodd McWilliams is a freshman cornerback at James Madison University. Rodd is originally from Richmond, Virginia and committed to JMU before the 2025 season. During the 2025 season, Rodd had a chance to learn from some of the top DBs in the country last season. Rodd was a key part to preparing JMU’s offense that ranked Top-10 in the country for scoring for its College Football Playoff berth. This Spring, Rodd emerged as one of JMU’s top defensive back and will be playing in multiple positions this season. With a prototypical size, Rodd has a chance to burst onto the scene this Fall and emerge as one of the country’s top defensive backs.
